Student and Professional Experience Symposium and Networking

May 26th from 2pm to 4pm EST, 2022

  • A panel of three disabled students from three fields (nursing, geography, and public health) and a networking event for placement practitioners. The event will address the opportunities and barriers students with disabilities experience during work-integrated learning.  
  • After the panel, a networking opportunity will happen. During this activity, zoom rooms are opened, given topic names, and people can go into these rooms to talk and network with their peers.

Professional Experience Symposiums and Networking

November 22nd from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm EST

  • A panel of three practitioners from degree programs with WIL. The panellists draw from three fields (health, humanities, and computer science). The event addresses commonalities between the opportunities and barriers students with disabilities experience during work-integrated learning.
  • After the panel, a networking opportunity will happen. During this activity, zoom rooms are opened, given topic names, and people can go into these rooms to talk and network with their peers.
